What can I automate with SiteMoves?+
Anything you do repeatedly in a browser: cancelling subscriptions, filling out forms, navigating complex settings, placing regular orders, applying to jobs. If you can do it by clicking and typing, you can record it as a Move.
What's the difference between Record and Run?+
Record captures your exact clicks and keystrokes, then replays them deterministically — no AI, no cost. Run Mode describes your goal to an AI that figures out the steps on the page. Record is free and reliable. Run Mode is Pro-only and adapts to changing UIs.
Can I share Moves with other people?+
Yes! Click the Share button on any saved Move to get a link. Recipients see a preview of every step, then click 'Add to my Moves' to install it in their browser with one click. Great for support teams, onboarding, and internal tooling.
Are shared Moves safe?+
Recipients see a full preview before installing — the start URL, every step, and what each step will do. Shared Moves only run on the site they were recorded on. You're always in control.
What's included in the free plan?+
Record browser actions, save up to 3 Moves per month, and replay up to 25 times per month. Step-through mode and the public catalog are included. Quotas reset on the 1st of each month.
Do I need an account?+
No. SiteMoves works without an account. Sign in with Google or email to unlock sharing, Pro features, and keep your usage synced across devices.
Why did my Move stop working?+
Recorded Moves replay the exact steps you captured, so if a site changes its layout or moves a button, a Move can break — like a bookmark breaking when a page moves. SiteMoves stops safely and flags the Move instead of clicking the wrong thing. Re-record it (fast if the site changed a little), or use Run Mode to complete the task against the updated page. Recording and replaying are free, so re-recording costs nothing.
How do I cancel or get a refund?+
Cancel anytime from the Stripe billing portal — open it from Settings → Manage subscription. Pro stays active until the end of your billing period; there's no proration. Within 30 days of purchase, you're covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee — email hello@sitemoves.app and we'll refund you.
I hit a limit — now what?+
Free quotas reset on the 1st of each month, so you can wait for the reset, or upgrade to Pro for unlimited saves and replays plus 50 AI Runs a month. Recording and replaying your own Moves are the core free features — if you hit a limit you didn't expect, email hello@sitemoves.app.
I can't sign in — what should I do?+
You don't need an account to record, save, or replay — sign-in only unlocks sharing and Pro. For magic-link sign-in, check spam and open the link in the same browser; it expires, so request a fresh one if needed. For Google sign-in, allow pop-ups for the sign-in window. Still stuck?
